About

Oana Dingeç

I was born and educated in Romania, where I spent eight years leading major initiatives in project management for large companies. But life had other plans for me. After meeting the love of my life, we moved to Turkey together, and soon after, with our 3-month-old son, we relocated to South Africa. There, I met an expat consultant who left a lasting impression on me—someone who truly understood the challenges of adapting to a new country. That encounter planted a seed that would later shape my career.

Over the next decade, our family embraced the adventure of change, moving across three cities, two continents, and ten homes. Along the way, I pursued my passion for pushing boundaries—climbing iconic peaks like Kilimanjaro, Elbrus, and Mount Ağrı, and running three 10km marathons. But through all these experiences, one thing remained constant: my love for people and my desire to help them feel at home, no matter where they were in the world.

Three years ago, I decided to turn that passion into a career by becoming a real estate agent. Today, I have the privilege of guiding individuals and families through one of life’s biggest decisions—finding the perfect home.

My Mission

My mission is to be the trustworthy and approachable partner my clients need to confidently navigate Istanbul’s real estate market—helping them find not just a house, but a place they can truly call home.

My Approach & Values

Building Trust – I believe in being open, friendly, and genuinely getting to know my clients. By asking the right questions, I understand their needs and present only the most suitable options, saving everyone time and effort.

Expert Knowledge – Whether it’s buying, renting, or selling, I have a deep understanding of the Turkish real estate market, the best neighborhoods, and the entire process, including required documents and legal steps.

Beyond Real Estate – I offer a complete relocation experience, helping with essential tasks like opening a bank account, obtaining a tax number, notarizing documents, and even finding furniture, architects, or contractors for home improvements.

A Cultural Connection

As an expat myself, I understand the challenges of moving to a new country, especially one where the language and culture are different. Many newcomers struggle with navigating Turkey’s real estate system, which is full of ever-changing rules and uncertainties about who to trust. I bridge that gap by offering my expertise in both English and Turkish, ensuring my clients feel informed, confident, and secure in every step of the process.

Understanding lifestyle preferences is just as important as finding the right house. That’s why I take the time to learn about my clients—their hobbies, family needs, and daily routines—so I can match them with the best neighborhood for their way of life.

Üsküdar – A more traditional and conservative area
Kadıköy (Moda) – Modern, vibrant, full of great coffee shops and energy
Ataşehir – Perfect for families, with safe compounds and a strong sense of community
Bebek – A beautiful area for scenic walks by the Bosphorus
